Some laboratory tests can be taken from samples collected by the patient at home. Usually this means urine or stool samples.

Sample Equipment and Instructions
Your own healthcare institution will give you equipment and instructions for samples collected at home. You can also pick them up from the Nordlab laboratory closest to you without booking an appointment during opening hours.
You must not use your own containers for sample collection!
Bringing your samples to the laboratory
Samples collected at home can be brought to the laboratory sample collection sites without booking an appointment during opening hours. You an also give self-collected samples to your sample collector in conjunction with a potential blood test.
Booking an Appointment
You do not need to book an appointment for bringing self-collected samples, or for picking up sample collection equipment from a sample collection site.
