You can visit our laboratory either through the public or private healthcare sector. In the following we will tell you what you need to do in either case:

3. Preparation
Your doctor or nurse will tell you how to prepare for your laboratory tests. Follow the instructions you are given.
4. Booking a Laboratory Appointment
Book your appointment based on which tests are included in the referral:

5. Sample Collection at the Laboratory
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment begins.
Take with you your KELA card or equivalent identification card as well as all the papers you have been given regarding your tests.
6. Results
After your visit to the laboratory your doctor or nurse will interpret your results.
It is possible that your results will also be visible in the Omakanta service.

You need choose the “Self-paying Customer Service” option in your booking. Please observe that not all NordLab sample collection sites offer services for self-paying customers.

5. Sample Collection at the Laboratory
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment begins.
Take with you your KELA card or equivalent identification card as well as all the papers you have been given regarding your tests. When you arrive to have your samples collected you must have a physical copy of a referral from a private doctor. Nordlab will retain the physical copy after your samples have been collected.
